Donations can be designated:

Unrestricted - used to cover general operating expenses related to maintaining oversight on emerging legislation, meeting with legislators and regulators, taking steps for environmental preservation, holding educational events, and communicating with our supporters.

State Trust Land Reform - used to get a citizen initiative and/or legislative action completed that would result in Daisy Mountain (or at least much of that land) be set aside to be used as a park or preserve.

Other specified choice - you tell us your specific desire for your donation.
We are a volunteer non-profit organization, but we still have expenses related to doing business (insurance, web pages, education events, mailings, etc.). We also face the possibility of having to purchase all or some of the land to achieve our mission. We appreciate any assistance you can offer. In return, we will keep you informed of our progress and (when scheduled) invite you to our public meetings. We will, of course, provide recognition in the form of a letter acknowledging your charitable donation.
We think you agree with us that the Daisy Mountain is a landmark with remarkable values that should be kept for our communities and as a legacy for future generations. It dominates our views, provides recreational opportunities, and important wildlife habitat. Although currently protected by State Land Trust designation, it faces future pressure from residential developers. We have witnessed this threat in action throughout Maricopa County, the state, and the nation and the devastating affect this has had on other mountains and open space. With your help, we will be able to take a pro-active stance to prevent this threat from becoming a reality.
